Sovata Health Spa Resort – Overview

Sovata is situated in the heart of Transylvania, 60km southeast of Tg. Mures Airport, on the southwestern side of the Mezőhavas mountains. Sovata is one of the largest spas in the Szekler region in central Romania and well known for its salt lakes and especially for the Bear Lake, which is the only heliothermic lake in Europe.

With its therapeutic salt lakes and fresh air, Sovata health spa provides the perfect environment for healing, recreation, and relaxation. Many people visit Sovata in order to receive treatment for health conditions, such as rheumatic and respiratory problems, rehabilitation after accidents, and chronic inflammatory gynecological diseases. Many others come simply to enjoy the idyllic, peaceful, and timeless atmosphere.

Our recently-built, stylish, contemporary pension is located in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood with a stunning view of the surrounding hillsides. It is only a 10-minute walk through the woods to Bear Lake, and two kilometers from the center of the town. We are located 100m from Belvedere Hotel.
